SEND Support at Holy Trinity

At Holy Trinity, we believe that every pupil deserves the support that they need in order to thrive at school and beyond. Our SEND provision is therefore designed to support all pupils so that they feel included, valued, happy and are able to reach their full potential.

We aim to work closely with pupils, families and staff to create SEND Support Plans for those who need them, to help every pupil to succeed. Our aim is to ensure that every child gets the right support at the right to help them to thrive, be happy and supported. Support may look different for all pupils and this ranges from pre-teaching/small group work, assisted technology and group interventions to specialist support from professionals such as Speech and Language Therapists or Occupational Therapists.

All members of staff work to support the children and provide them with the help and support that they need. However, as SENCO, Miss Fogarty oversees SEND provision within school and laises with staff and parents to support the children. We understand that parents and carers are key partners in their children's education and so please be assured that we are always here to listen to your questions, concerns or worries. If you need any help or support regarding SEND or your child, the initial port of call would be to contact your childs class teacher. You can also contact Miss Fogarty at SEND@stacksteads.lancs.sch.uk for anything that you may need.

Inclusion is of the upmost importance in all that we do and we work to make all children feel happy, confortable, confident and to enjoy learning- no matter their barriers or challenges. Together, we can make every pupil succeed!
