Message from the APP - 23rd February

RETURN OF ALL CHILDREN ON MONDAY 8TH MARCH 2021 - Following the Prime Minister's announcement that all children will be returning to school on Monday 8th March, I am writing to let you know that I will publish the arrangements and procedures that will be in place to allow this to happen as safely as possible, early next week. Essentially, I expect that the arrangements will be very similar to those that were in place at the end of the Autumn Term.

Things such as the staggered start and finish times, the bubble arrangements and the one-way system will remain in place.

If you have any immediate questions or concerns please contact me via contact@stacksteads.lancs.sch.uk Thank you J.ASPIN HEADTEACHER

COVID 19 INFORMATION

ADVICE TO PARENTS SHOULD THEIR CHILD OR A MEMBER OF THEIR HOUSEHOLD TEST POSITIVE

Follow the guidance at https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/covid-19-stay-at-home-guidance and must continue to self-isolate for at least 10 days from the onset of their symptoms and then return to school only if they are well (and have not had a high temperature for 48 hours) - note that symptoms of a cough or loss of sense of smell/ taste may persist, as they can last for several weeks once the infection has gone. The 10-day period starts from the day when they first became ill. Other members of their household should continue self-isolating for the full 14 days.
